1. Introduction
• These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website and the purchase of products from Burn After Reading. By using our site, you agree to these terms.

2. Product Information
• All products are handcrafted and hand poured and may vary slightly in appearance or smell.
• We strive for accuracy in descriptions but do not guarantee that product descriptions or other content are error-free.

3. Pricing
• All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars and may change without notice.
• Sales tax and shipping fees will be added at checkout where applicable.

4. Orders and Payment
• Orders can be placed through our website. Payment methods accepted include major credit and debit cards.
• You will receive an order confirmation via email once your order is placed.

5. Shipping and Delivery
• We aim to ship orders within 5 business days.

• This is a handmade product.  Larger orders or peak holiday times may result in aclonger time to produce and ship.
• Delivery times may vary based on location. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

• Customer is responsible for ensuring deliveries are sent to an address where the package will be received and kept in a climate controlled space. We are not responsible for product damage due to prolonged exposure to excessive heat.

6. Returns and Refunds 

• Return requests must be received within 14 days of receipt for unused products.

7. Safety Information
• Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting to prevent excessive flame and soot.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or pets.
• Keep candles away from flammable materials and ensure proper ventilation when burning.

8. Warning Information
• Burning candles may produce soot; avoid burning near drafty areas.
• Discontinue use if the candle burns unevenly, if the flame becomes too large, or if the candle container becomes too hot.
• For external use only. Do not ingest.

9. Intellectual Property
• All content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Burn After Reading™ and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

10. Limitation of Liability
• Burn After Reading is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products.

11. Governing Law
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of North Carolina.

12. Changes to Terms
• We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
