Return and Refund Policy

Steps for Requesting Return/Exchange:

• Are you within the refund time window? (We have a 14-day return policy from delivery date.)
• Did you carefully inspect your item(s) for any damage or defects? Did you make sure that your order was correct? (If there's a problem with the product, please make note of it right away and get in touch with us at burnafterreadingstore@gmail.com so we can do our best to make things right!)
• Is the damage due to product damage during transit? (We do not accept refunds for candles which melted during transit. During the warmer months, candles may melt if left unattended in the heat for a prolonged period of time and it's the customer's responsibility to ship your orders to an address where the package may be promptly retrieved and stored in a climate- controlled environment. Package tracking information is provided to assist customers with preparing to receive orders promptly.)
• Have you already lit and used your candle? (We don't take back used product, so be sure to follow the instructions in the previous bullet points.)
• Do you want to contact us to start the refund process and see if your order qualifies? (Refunds/exchanges are on a case-by-case basis so reach out to us at burnafterreadingstore@gmail.com for instructions.)
• How will you receive your refund? (If your refund is accepted, you will be notified and we will have your original payment method credited back for the original purchase price. We do not refund shipping costs.)
• Will you be refunded for your shipping? (We do not refund shipping costs.)
